The
84th Canadian Society for
Chemistry Conference & Exhibition now
belongs to the past. Thank you to all the attendees, participants and volunteers. See you all in Vancouver next year. This conference was be organized and hosted by a team of people from Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., Merck Frosst, McGill University, Université de Montréal, Université du Québec à Montréal and the Pulp and Paper Research Institute. This diverse group of individuals will make for a conference with something for all chemists and promises to have a very high quality scientific program. With the new millennium underway, it is clear that a major challenge ahead in chemistry is the elucidation and understanding of the many chemical processes which make life possible. "Chemistry in Life Sciences", the theme of the conference, has been very exciting and informative.
